The process of being approved for admission into Malibu Horizon's treatment program starts with a simple phone call. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is here to answer your questions about our program and the admission's procedure.
The pre-admissions phase is a simple telephone conversation to discuss the private health insurance coverage and assess medical, psychological and any prior treatment information. During this pre-admissions phase, our intake staff member asks questions which will help determine if the candidate meets criteria and is appropriate for Malibu Horizon's treatment program.
The cost of attending Malibu Horizon's treatment program is first determined by what, if any, health insurance coverage may be applicable. The first step is to verify the candidate's health insurance benefit. Once benefit verification is completed, financial arrangements can be discussed.
The length of stay at Malibu Horizon is flexible so we can properly address the needs of each client. Some of our clients will only choose to stay at our facility for detoxification. For a client to achieve the most successful outcome, we highly recommend a 90 day stay.
At Malibu Horizon, we understand that this is a stressful time for our clients and their families. Clients are welcome to fly into Burbank or Los Angeles International Airport. Malibu Horizon will arrange to have a driver meet each client at the airport. Our "door to door" policy ensures safe transportation directly to our facility and back to the airport, upon completion of treatment.
